Omar Meneses (born 1964) is a photographer whose works record the political and ethnic tensions in contemporary Mexico. For example working for the newspaper La Jornada, among others, he documented the seizures of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation following the Mexican economic crisis in 1994. Recent exhibitions include: La era de la discrepancia, Museo Universitario de Ciencias y Arte, Mexico City, 2007. Meneses lives and works in Mexico City.
